Are you ready for some boot scootin fun? Bristow Western Heritage Days will happen August 14 and 15 and Main Street will be filled with fun and excitement. Oh yes, and some cowboys too!
The weekend will kick off with the Western Heritage Day Rodeo, hosted by the Bristow Round-up Club, which will begin at 8 pm. But hold on, there is a little fun happening before the rodeo. Mutton Busting will at 7 pm.There will be a barnyard scramble on Friday night and a calf scramble at the Saturday evening rodeo. Peewee and junior barrel racers will show off their skills. You will witness roping, racing, bronc riding, and bull riding. Kids five and under get in free, 12 and under is $5 and anyone over 12 is $10. Admission is cash only.
Then on Saturday the morning starts with the festival, hosted by the Bristow Merchants Association. The fun begins at 9 am on Main Street or Rte 66 and will continue until noon. Enjoy food, shopping, extreme trampoline, and a rock wall, or try your luck on the mechanical bull. The vendors will offer jewelry, clothing, accessories, skin care products, crafts, home décor, western memorabilia, knives, and amazing food, sweat treats, pizza and much more for any taste you might want.
At 10 a.m. the parade will begin down Main Street featuring real cowboys, horses, wagons, great costumes, amazing floats, along with businesses, organizations, and special guests.
Kristin Weaver said,“We are particularly excited to host Western Heritage Days this year with 2026 also being the 100 year anniversary of Route 66. Visitors will experience a unique part of our history with real cowboys and appreciate all the attractions that Bristow has to offer.”
