Pain and suffering. Many of us experience pain and suffering in one way or another; physical, emotional, relationally, financial. Sometimes our pain and suffering is mild, but at other times we wonder how we will ever go on. There have been times I have asked that question— maybe you have also.

“Where’s The ‘Lost and Found,’ Please?”

On August 28, 1815, Captain Riley sensed something was wrong. It was 3:00 in the morning. A thick fog had surrounded his ship, so they were late arriving at port. Suddenly, a loud rumble filled Riley’s ears. It was breakers. The ship was on a direct course toward a rocky shoreline.
